Lake Eola Park surrounds a lake accessible by paddle boats and hosts various outdoor activities for all ages. 

The iconic fountain distinguishes this beautiful park in the middle of the lake.  Walking around its .9 - mile path, you will spot turtles and swans.  Make your way around the park on foot and you will find a playground on one side of the park and the bandshell on the other (with bathrooms on either side of these landmarks). The park is also home to swan boats you can rent to paddle around the lake - currently priced at $15 for the boat per 30 minutes and up to a 1400 weight limit (children need to fit approved life vest to ride).  This park is always busy, with locals and visitors alike walking its circular perimeter during the day, and events filling it up on the weekends.  

Lake Eola Park is the home of the weekly Sunday farmer’s market, various events throughout the year, performances on the Walt Disney Amphitheater, summer movies on the green, and plenty of dining options right in the park.  At night, the paths are illuminated and the sound system plays soft music to keep the mood light. Stop by to watch the fountain change colors or occasional synchronized performance to the music. 

Need a bite to eat?  Stop by the outdoor Relax Grill right next to the Swan Boat rentals.  Rather have the option to sit indoors?  Head over to World of Beer and choose between the patio or inside.  Thornton Park features Anthony’s Pizzeria, Graffiti Junction, Starbucks, Popsicle, or a Publix Supermarket if you just want to picnic outdoors. Various local shops also surround the parks, so make it a point to spend some extra time here to shop local!
