Losco Regional Park Has a Large Playground, Splashpad, Paved Trail, and Much More for a Fun Day Outside.
Losco Regional Park is a great place for fun for the whole family, with over 200 acres of nature. The playground has so much to explore the kids can have hours of fun running around, climbing, and swinging. All of the ropes and climbing structures scream obstacle course to me, and my kids had a blast racing through each section, trying to get faster and faster times. Enjoy a picnic at one of the picnicking areas, complete with tables, grills, and well-maintained restrooms. And when it’s very hot, the splash park is a huge hit for all to cool down.
There are many sports fields that are great to practice on when not in use by other teams. Bring a soccer ball, football, or frisbee for fun. We even saw a family bring a volleyball net and set up for a full day of games.
Paved trails go all around, which are worth visiting for a stroller walk or perfect for kids learning to ride bikes. It does get pretty crowded, with many people walking or jogging with their dogs.
If you’re a little more adventurous, there is a 3-mile loop hiking trail. It can get very muddy after rain, so you will want to plan accordingly, and I would recommend not exploring it in flip-flops!
With so many activities going on all around, it’s hard not to want to join in and get moving and enjoy nature.
