Need a spot in northeast DC for little kids? Lovejoy Park!

Lovejoy Park, a small pocket park in Capitol Hill, has a small, enclosed tot lot playground attached to a little open field.  It has a basic play structure with a slide, a balance beam, and a couple of bouncing ride-ons.  There is also a collection of abandoned Cozy Cars - some of which are still functional.  This park is great for toddler and younger kids, but probably won't entertain your older kids.  There's a small field adjacent to the play area where you can toss or kick a ball and run around.

The closest metro is Union Station.
