LuLu’s in Gulf Shores is more than just a restaurant, it's an attraction. 

You’ll want to hang out here for hours eating, playing, and listening to music.  First, let's talk about the food!  LuLu’s offers fresh coastal recipes created by Lucy Buffet (little sister to famous singer Jimmy Buffet).  The robust menu offers many favorite southern and coastal dishes, such as gumbo, fried green tomatoes, po’ boy sandwiches, and fresh seafood.  For the pickier eaters, they also offer classic options like burgers, salads, and chicken fingers.  Second, go to LuLu’s for the live music that is offered nightly from 5pm - 9pm, it really sets the atmosphere for an amazing night out with the whole family.  Lastly, LuLu’s offers so much more than just food and music, the kids will want to stay for the ropes course and arcade.  The ropes course is only available to kids and adults over 48 inches and under 300 lbs, and the cost is $14 per person.  There is also a mini-ropes course available to kids under 48 inches, kids must be accompanied by an adult, and the cost is $8 per person.  

Other services on site at LuLu’s are a gift shop, hair-wrap and henna tattoo station, and a caricature artist.  LuLu’s is really like a min-campus with the restaurant, gift shop, arcade and rope courses all in different spaces.  Throughout the space, you’ll find picnic tables to sit and relax or to watch the kids conquering the ropes course.  

LuLu’s sits on the banks of Portage Creek and while we were there, we saw dolphins swimming up the creek.  I highly recommend requesting a table that overlooks the water so you can look for dolphins and watch the pelicans flying by.
