My Gym's Lincoln Park location offers fun classes and activities in a colorful, kid-friendly space.

My Gym provides the perfect antidote to the inevitable Chicago winter blues. With classes offered six days a week, this cheerful indoor play space will boost everyone's spirits and give kids the opportunity to get their energy out in a constructive way. Fitness and gymnastics classes are offered throughout the day for various age groups. Some require parent participation, while others allow children to attend independently.

If you drive to My Gym, you will need to enter the parking lot on Clybourn and take a parking ticket. Please bring your ticket inside after you park to validate it for free parking. The entrance has benches with cubbies where you can sit to remove shoes and coats and store them. Your children will also need to take off their socks to go barefoot in the play space. My Gym provides hand sanitizer at the check-in desk. Restrooms are located in the back of the gym.

Children can begin classes as early as four months with parent supervision. Friendly, energetic instructors teach the Waddlers, Gymsters, Terrific Tots, and Siblings & Friends, classes. Children can learn gymnastics, tumbling, and fitness drills while playing on the fun equipment scattered throughout the space. Older children, ages 3.5 to 8 years of age, have the opportunity to take Ninja Training, Gymnastics, Ballet, and STEAM classes independently.

My Gym offers a $22 two-week trial of any class, with a $129 monthly membership required if you choose to continue. One of the best features of the monthly membership is unlimited access to the daily Practice & Play hour. During this time, children can play freely on the gym equipment. If you have small children in the city, this type of activity is a must during the long winters! Cabin fever will evaporate after they have had the chance to bounce on the trampoline and bouncy balls, climb the ladders and climbing wall, slide down multiple slides, and just run around and play on all of the colorful toys. Remember that these Practice & Play hours are open to children ages four months to 7 years old. Parent supervision is required, and you will need to keep an eye on your kids to make sure that older kids remain a safe distance from little ones.

After visiting My Gym, stop by the Barnes & Noble bookstore next door. They have a huge, well-stocked children's book section, a cafe with ample seating, and free parking validation for the same lot.
