Nathan Dubin Park is brimming with activities for spinning, climbing, swinging, zipping, sliding and having fun!

Nathan Dubin park is a well designed and laid out park in Lincoln that features play structures and activities we haven’t seen anywhere else locally. The giant zipline is its stand out feature, we even nicknamed the park “zipline park” because of it. The zipline platform is made from heavy duty rope woven in an open grid, so little ones may need help standing and getting on the zipline seat. The zipline does provide a “kickback” when it hits the end of the line, which can be surprising at first, but is now my kids’ favorite part of the ride!

Aside from the amazing zipline, the park has a really great main play structure. The outside appears to be an odd, cobbled together house of sorts, but inside there is a tangle of ropes for climbing to the very top. There is a rope bridge for encouraging balance and a set of parallel bars for sliding down. A small feature near the zipline has a ropes course between rocks for balancing while shimmying from rock to rock. The swing area has a circular platform swing (be ready to do some pushing!) which is fun for a few kids to pile on. There is a large merry-go-round platform with a cone made from climbing ropes on top (we’ve dubbed it the christmas tree) so kids can climb while spinning. It doesn’t get going very fast as it’s hard to push, and usually ends up being my workout for the day, but the kids have a blast coming up with different things to do on it.

There is a little kid's playground that is separate from the main play area, which is nice when you are trying to keep little ones in an area suited to their needs. The play structure is similar to the larger structure with climbing ropes inside and a slide once they reach the top. There are baby swings, a bouncy ladybug and a log balance beam.

The park also has restrooms, two covered pavilions, a basketball court, cornhole, picnic benches, a soccer field, a paved loop around the park, a horseshoe pit and is near a paved walking path and pond.
