Nela Luken Park has a three-story tall climbing tower, splash pad, and plenty of sidewalks for biking/scootering. Don't forget your coffee at West Roseville's first coffee shop next door.

Nela Luken Park is located directly across Pleasant Grove Blvd. from Mahan Park, Roseville sure does like its parks! While Mahan is a great location for lots of sports and getting active, Nela Luken Park is great for community gatherings, play dates and a relaxing day at the park. With the new construction of West Roseville’s first restaurant and coffee shop right next door, Nela Luken is going to be the perfect place to head to after a morning coffee or after a rooftop dinner. MoJoe’s and 747 Kitchen are slated to open in Fall 2021 and our family and many others are excited to visit them, along with Nela Luken Park, more frequently.

The most exciting part of Nela Luken park is the three-story-tall climbing tower. It’s an enclosed route to the top-level slide and it takes some patience and skill to navigate. The tower also provides a great opportunity for watching out for others above and below and taking turns.

Nela Luken is at the center of two grassy fields with crisscrossing paths that are great for rollerblading and scootering. There are picnic tables available but are in full sun, so bring some sunscreen. Restrooms are also available. There is a sculptural column installation in the center of the park that is a splash pad, but due to the drought, the water source is currently not turned on.
