North Tahoe Regional Park is located just a short drive from Tahoe Vista and Kings Beach, California, across the California and Nevada state line.

This 124-acre park has captivating views of Lake Tahoe and year-round recreation opportunities for all visitors! Park amenities include children’s playgrounds, trails for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, a fitness course, a dog park, multiple sports fields and courts, and a treetop aerial adventure course.

There are two playgrounds; one designed for older children (ages 5-12) and one designed for younger children (ages 2-5). There are slides, climbing bars, hanging bridges, and spring rider play equipment. There are also traditional swings and tot swings near the play structures. Several picnic tables are available near the children’s playgrounds as well.

There are extensive trails in the park that can be used for hiking or mountain biking. Bike rentals are available in Kings Beach and Tahoe Vista. There is a 0.75-mile interpretive nature trail great for all ages. A popular wintertime activity for all ages is sledding on the small hills near the main entrance or the larger hills found towards the rear of the park! Bring your sleds or snow tubes, and don’t forget to dress warm!

You can find tennis and pickleball courts, ballfields, multi-purpose fields, a disc golf course, and all-weather soccer and lacrosse fields throughout the park. 

Tahoe Treetop Adventure Park is an aerial ropes and obstacle course that secures climbers with harnesses to climb and zipline through the trees. Prices begin at $50 per climber for ages six and up.

There are well-kept restrooms throughout the park and picnic tables to utilize. Some picnic tables and areas are available for reservations making it a great spot for a birthday party!

Park entry is $5.00 for visitors. Cash only! North Tahoe Public Utility District residents are not charged entry. 

Leashed dogs are welcomed. Please make sure to pick up after your pet.
