Officer Alyn Beck Memorial Park is a 10-acre park located in northwest Las Vegas, just off the 95 freeway. It was built in honor of Officer Alyn Beck who was a Las Vegas Metro Police Officer killed in the line of duty in 2014. There is a statue in his honor at the park entrance.
This park has a covered playground for bigger kids with multiple slides and climbing options! There is a small, toddler-friendly dinosaur climbing structure for younger kids. There are no swings at this park.
The seasonal splash pad is operated by the City of Las Vegas and typically operates from sometime in May to September. Splash pad opening and closing dates can be found on the City of Las Vegas website closer to the summer time.
There are several covered picnic tables near the playground and splash pad areas that make this park a great option to bring a picnic to and play the day away!
Additional park amenities include restrooms, basketball courts, and 2 natural turf fields.
There is a sizable parking lot available that connects to the park entrance.
This park is conveniently located near the Skye Canyon Shopping Center, just across the 95 freeway, that has lots of food options like Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Cafe Rio, Subway, Omelette Cafe, Island Flavor, and more. If you are in the mood for more of a treat, grab some frozen yogurt from Menchie’s, a Starbucks drink, or a delicious cookie and flavored drink (soda, lemonade, water) from Twisted Sugar inside the Smith’s Marketplace.
