Pond Hill Farm has it all! 

Seriously. Farm animals, food, beer, wine, farm stand, play area, trails, and best of all, a GNOME HUNT. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but you should start with the gnome house hunt. Twelve delightful little gnome houses are hidden along a 1.5-mile trail. Unscramble the letters hidden in the houses correctly and win a small prize. I think I enjoyed this more than my little ones! If you’re still in the mood for walking, there are other trails around their beautiful property. Stroll along the vineyard, through the woods, or along with the flower and vegetable patches. Meander by the trout pond where the little ones will enjoy feeding the fish. 

When you’ve worked up an appetite, grab a bite to eat in their cafe, where the delicious farm-fresh fare is served. Grab a charcuterie board, sit at their outdoor tables and watch the kids play in the large outdoor play area. Not only do they have great play structures, but you can try your hand at root vegetable launching with their potato launcher! They have a heated beer tent and a sledding hill in the winter. As far as adult beverages go, they have something for every taste - wine, beer, and cider. Bring (or buy) a growler; you’ll want to take some home!

The kids will love the animal barn where they can visit the resident goats and rabbits. Then, stop at the store to pick up farm-fresh goods on your way out. 

They have seasonal activities - hayrides, pumpkin patches, and Easter egg hunts.

Round out your day with a quick stop at Thorne Swift Nature Preserve - stroll along a beautiful boardwalk to a secluded little Lake Michigan beach. Up north, take the scenic route 119 up through the Tunnel of Trees - incredible in the fall but worth it in any season.
