Be sure to roll down the grassy hill into the inset soccer field at Santucci Park!

Santucci Park is located in West Roseville near Fiddyment Road. The park features a playground, covered pavilion, basketball court, two baseball fields, a soccer field and restrooms.

The playground is great for young children and older children who are pretty stable while climbing. The unique climbing structure has sculpture like pieces all strung together loosely with thick rope. There is a long sloping zigzag element that wobbles back and forth while you are climbing it, it’s quite a challenge! The curved pieces are fun for sitting and taking a break in.

The main play structure has lots of monkey bars and a low bar that’s perfect for learning how to flip or hang by your knees. There are slides and an angled climbing wall and a wheel that spins while you hang onto it. As with most of the monkey bars out there, the monkey bars are pretty tall, so be prepared to help your little ones reach them. One of the monkey bar sets has bars that swing back and forth, making it a great place to learn how to swing from one bar to the next, the swinging action provides a little extra boost.

We love the grassy field at Santucci Park because the field is inset creating a nice grassy hill all the way around. Who doesn’t love rolling down a grassy hill over and over? There are also large drainage pipes at the end of the soccer field which can be fun for kids to look at and think about what they are used for.
