The aptly-named local Seattle highlight with activities of all kinds for the whole family!

Looking up to the Famous Space Needle is Seattle Center, the hub of fair-weather fun for locals and tourists alike. It truly is the center for Seattle’s, art, music, and theatre, as well as the hot spot for children to play in the International Fountain and roll across the grassy courtyard. There is also an outdoor Labyrinth open to the public which you'll often see the little ones wandering around on and playing. Wonderful museums such as The MoPOP, The Pacific Science Center, and Chihuly Glass Gardens surround the Seattle Center play area making it easy to plan a full day in this one area of downtown Seattle.

You’re bound to work up an appetite on the playground or watching one of the many concerts held here, but you won’t have to go far to find a bite. Of course, there are many restaurants within walking distance, but the food court at the Armory is very close, kid-friendly, and offers differing cuisine for everyone’s preferences.

Restrooms are very clean, accessible, and open to the public, as well as bathrooms in the Armory nearby. With this being such a popular tourist destination parking might be a struggle some days. If you cannot find street parking nearby, the closest garage is located at 516 Harrison St, Seattle, WA 98109, and if you plan on exploring the Pacific Science Center their parking garage is located right in the Seattle Center area.
