Shandiz Mediterranean/Greek Bar & Grill in Lake Oswego has delicious food and fish tanks for kids to enjoy!

This little restaurant is located on the outskirts of Lake Oswego and a hidden gem. If you like Persian food, they have one of the best in the Portland area. They are not only kid-friendly, but they have indoor and outdoor fish tanks for kids to observe while they dine. The outdoor area is covered and perfect for a nice day. Unfortunately, they don’t have it open year-round due to storm damage sometimes. 

The staff there is accommodating and very kind. Lots of seating is available, especially if you go early. Our favorite dish is the chicken kabob. However, you can’t go wrong with any of the items on the menu. 

I recommend going early if you want the whole place to yourself. We tend to go around 5 pm, and it is usually us dining there during the week. On weekends it is a little more busy with a few other people during this time. It gets more crowded around 6 or 7 pm. 

Pick up is also really easy and fast. You can call it in and it takes 15 - 20 minutes for the order to get ready. Depending on where you live, they are on most of the delivery apps but their range is short. 

They open daily at noon and closing hours vary (see below for details). 

Parking is in a shared parking lot with other establishments. We have never had issues with the lot being entire or needing to park somewhere else. 

There is no kids menu but the plates are very large and can be shared with an adult and a child. Ask for an extra plate to split the food. I usually share a chicken kabob plate with my 2.5 year old and still have left-overs. 

They have a full bar and drink options for kids. Bathrooms are available but no changing table.
