A Marketplace in an Old Aviation Factory that Features Fun Restaurants, Cool Boutiques, Activities for Children, and Entertainment!
The Stanley Marketplace opened in 2015 and has quickly become one of east Denver's favorite hangouts. The marketplace is located in an old aviation factory that has been converted to a collective of over 50 local businesses. The Stanley Marketplace features lots of great kid-friendly restaurants, some fun kid's toy and clothing boutiques, unique shops for unusual trinkets, a gymnastics school, an inclusive play area, a hydroponic greenhouse, and more. The setup of the Stanley Marketplace allows groups to pick up food or drinks from any one of the many options and sit in an open seating area.
The area is ideal for families because kids have plenty of space to run around. One favorite is the Miette et Chocolat French patisserie, where children (and adults!) can watch them make chocolates and other delicacies in the kitchen. The Stanley Marketplace also has a very large space called the Hangar, where they host cultural events such as Vincent Van Gogh exhibits, Camp Christmas, local fashion shows, and more. Be sure to purchase tickets ahead of time for any events, they do tend to sell out quickly!
The Stanley Marketplace is incredibly family-friendly and is a great place to let kids get out their energy on colder days. It's easily accessible via car or bike. There is a large parking lot surrounding the marketplace, so it is also fairly easy to find parking at any time of day.
