Stateline Lookout is a paved trail with incredible views of Lake Tahoe.

This popular trail is 1.7 miles round trip near Incline Village on the northern side of Lake Tahoe. The path is easy to follow and great for all fitness levels and ages. The beginning of the trail is all uphill so be prepared to climb, especially with kids in tow; literal hand-holding may be necessary for young children. Although it is a paved trail, it is not stroller-friendly due to the steep incline at the beginning. The beautiful Tahoe pine trees provide some shade along the trail, but sunscreen is always a great idea.

When you reach the top, do not miss out on walking on the loop that goes around the lookout point. It provides multiple vantage points of Lake Tahoe, along with snippets of information and benches to enjoy the views along the way.

This trail is ideal for a great picnic or snack stop at the overlook point. When you reach the top, there are benches and stone walls to sit on, eat, and enjoy. You will not want to forget your water bottle either.

Bring your camera to snap some photos of the amazing views!

It may also be a great idea to bring along some binoculars to be able to spot any wildlife along the way too.
Restrooms are available at the top, near the lookout point. There is no soap in the restrooms so keep your hand sanitizer close by.

Parking near the trailhead is in an all-residential area. Make sure to not block driveways and look for open spots to park along the road.

Note that this trail is heavily trafficked, so weekends and during the summertime will be the busiest.
