Jackson's Kid-Friendly Aquatic Destination.

There’s nothing quite like a heated water slide to ease your winter blues. Better yet, instill in your kids a love for the water while teaching them to swim on a gray day. This is a great indoor destination where your kids of all ages can have fun when the weather just won't cooperate!

Safe And Fun For Kids

With its walls of windows letting in natural light, three kiddy pools, a fountain, and not one but two water slides, this rec center pool is nothing like the one I attended as a kid. Ranging from one to four feet, the children's pools are very inclusive and the space is contained enough so that parents can take turns lapping the Olympic-size swimming pool while one keeps an eye on the kiddos.

Each pool is only open when a lifeguard is on duty, so be sure to double-check that the pool you're looking for is available before you head over. Swim diapers, towels, and assorted snacks are available for purchase. It's helpful to bring cash because there is a limit for cards.

With clean bathrooms, helpful team members, and a relaxed parent group, we give the Aquatic Center two thumbs up.

Emily Coleman
Emily Coleman is a Jersey girl born and raised who caught the outdoor bug upon moving to Vermont to pursue a degree in Adventure Education and Environmental Studies from Green Mountain College. She spent most of her years before college deeply entrenched in the world of competitive cheerleading before discovering a passion for outdoor sports including mountain biking, white water kayaking, bikepacking, backpacking, slacklining, rock climbing, and skiing. Having been surrounded by children her entire life in her mother's daycare, she always had a strong affinity for kids. She moved to the mountains of Jackson Hole after graduating to coach for the local Kayak Club during the summers and nanny in the winters. Becoming a part of the Happy Active Family team felt like the perfect collision of her passion for building strong community bonds and encouraging an outdoor lifestyle.
