While walking through Westfield Galleria at Roseville, you would never know that a playground, oversize bubble machine, train, corn hole patio, and wishing pond await just outside the doors!

Until I had children I didn’t even know the playground behind the Westfield Galleria at Roseville existed. We stumbled across it years ago when eating at Pluto’s (which is sadly no longer there) and have returned many times since. If you haven’t been in a while, they have added a few new areas of fun to the mix. There is an astroturf area with picnic tables and a few corn hole games set up and waiting. There is a giant bubble machine blowing more bubbles than we’d ever seen at one time. There is also a train ride that circles and twists through the narrow surrounding pathways.

The playground has an exciting climbing structure that challenges kids to climb through a series of suspended loops; it’s challenging even for the older kids. There is a section for new walkers and toddlers with looping shapes that seem to emerge straight from the ground. Our favorite feature is a bit hidden, so keep an eye out for it. It’s a panel of metal in the ground with 9 squares - each of which emits a different bell sound when stepped on. I’m pretty sure my kids could spend hours on that feature alone!

A couple of the surrounding restaurants have outdoor seating right next to the playground, making it the perfect place for kids to eat for the requisite 5 minutes and then run wild while the adults finish their meal.
