Willamette Park Playground is a beautiful green park in West Linn, Oregon overlooking the confluence of the Tualatin and Willamette Rivers.

Willamette Park has sand and grass volleyball courts and a large grass area. There are two large covered picnic shelters and a smaller gazebo with electrical outlets and running water. There are two softball fields and one baseball field. There is a large grassy area next to the playground and a beautiful covered stage (which is great for live music). There are five horseshoe pits, two splash pads, WiFi, a playground, and river access in addition to the Bernert Landing Boat Ramp next to the park. The park is 15 acres, while the adjacent boat ramp increases the total outdoor area to 22.5 acres. Willamette Park is on 12th Street, while the boat ramp is on Volpp Street. There is plenty of free parking on either 12th or Volpp Street lots.

The playground area has restrooms next to the two splash pads. There are two infant swings, "big kid" swings, and one ADA-accessible swing. There are a couple of climbing features and slides to keep your kids active. This park is great year-round if it's not raining too hard because the playground is uncovered. It is especially popular in the summer when the splash pads are running. They run from 10 am-8 pm from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and dogs are not allowed in the splash pad area. The splash pad is great for chalk art drawing when it is not summer. The playground has tanbark covering.

Willamette Park is very close to downtown West Linn. It is walkable or a short drive at a distance of 0.3 miles apart. Downtown you will find a cafe with coffee drinks, restaurants, and charming houses that are fun to view during Halloween and Christmas holiday decorations.

I moved from Northern California to Oregon in 2021. I have three girls, ages 5, 3, and 1. I was an elementary school teacher before I became a full time adventuring mama. My husband and I are foodies and we live in the forest. We enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest.
