Don't miss this lovely spot to get out and do whatever makes you happy!

Steps from Red Rocks, the Bear Creek county park offers a beach area for swimming, wide-open spaces for paddle boarding, biking and hiking trails, archery, fishing and camping. You can also book horseback rides. Expect to hear the laughter of children and families slowing down.  The property is host to two playgrounds as well!

The Bear Creek Park area has paid access ($10 a day) and is temporarily open at partial capacity (first come, first serve). It’s funny that we have visited my brother at least a dozen times in the last two years and we haven’t been to this wonderful park. The beach area alone is worth a visit and it’s perfect for little kids. They have restrooms onsite, a snack bar and paddleboard rentals. The space is thoughtfully done with a playground off the beach, picnic areas and ample shade.

While the park is a distance from the main road, the Mountain View’s make up for its proximity and the area is well guarded against the road noise.

These gems are what the team at happyly look for every day to share with you. We love the simple spots that offer a chance to connect and recharge together.
