Farm With Vast Open Area for Imaginative Play and Farm Animals

Located at the southern end of Chesterfield County, is a huge, spacious farm that does seasonal specials and events, for all to enjoy!  My children especially love visiting during the fall as the pumpkin patch is just filled with every kind of pumpkin you could want!  Additionally, the nursery has cute play areas that lend themselves to imaginary play.

We like to start by playing out front of the nursery and then entering in, so we can purchase animal feed ($1 and you will get more than enough).  My children also love the kettle corn and popsicles they sell!  Additionally, there are adorable and unique home decorations, and perfect gifts for the gardeners in your life!

At the back of the farm is where all the animals are.  There are several goats, a llama named Julio, chickens and ducks.  The goats are NOT shy and will come right over and appreciate any and all the food you feed 'em!  They are behind a fence, and it is entirely safe.

Also, back here are playsets for children.  While they are not large, they were perfect for our play group that day, made of 5 children under 5 years old.  In addition to the playsets, there is a sandbox with toys, a stage, cornhole, and a small obstacle course. There are also two tractors on the farm that children can play on and pretend to drive. In the center of all of this are a few picnic tables, perfect for snacks or lunch.  The portapotties are near the playset, and there is another one at the front, near the parking lot.

There is no charge for admission, and during pumpkin season, we typically purchase 3 of the small pumpkins for $5.  My children love painting them at home!
