Enjoy a full-day family adventure at the Bruce Park Playground in Greenwich Connecticut!
The Bruce Park Playground is a must-see in Greenwich Connecticut. Children love exploring the big gated playground, which is located right off the turnpike. Older and younger kids enjoy this outing, and there are separate big kid and toddler areas to keep the whole crew entertained. The toddler area has an awesome ship theme, so the kiddos can let their imaginations run wild as they play captain in the big boat climbing structure. The older kids’ play area is just as captivating, as it is based on the nature throughout the rest of the park. My favorite parts are the tree and rock structures, which make tunnels and climbing areas for the older ones to enjoy. There is also a sandpit, many slides, and swings for all ages and accessibilities.
Parents will love the shade from the trees, and there is even a pavilion for a fun picnic. happyly also highly recommends exploring the rest of Bruce Park, as there are beautiful pond views and other great places for picnics. The walking paths are stroller accessible, and the perfect place for your kiddos to bring their bikes or scooters. There are courts and fields throughout the park that older kids would enjoy if they aren’t as interested in the playground. To round out your adventure, you could check out the Bruce Museum, located across from the playground. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and free for kids under 5. They also offer amazing family programs on arts and sciences free of additional charge.
