Cat Hollow is the perfect neighborhood park to take advantage of when you have the chance.

When you arrive, you have to park on the residential street parking, but this normally is not too much of a hassle to find a spot available. The park is very well kept and clean, with plenty of trash cans around the park to throw away any garbage you may have. 

The park features so many different types of activities to partake in. They have basketball, tennis, and sand volleyball courts to play on for older kids and adults or you might consider bringing some sand toys for the kids for when the sand volleyball is not in use. There is also a nice-sized playground for kids to play on. Here, you can find many different slides, monkey bars to climb on, a merry-go-round, and many different climbing walls and structures. At the bottom of all the slides, they conveniently have rubber padding for added safety. Also, they feature swings for all different ages to enjoy, including babies. 

Also inside of the park, they have lots of open green space and grassy areas to play games, throw a frisbee, or fly a kite. However, there is also a good amount of shade that you can find as well if you are looking to get out of the sun. There is a nice paved concrete path along and throughout the park that is stroller accessible so that you can go for a nice stroll or a jog around the park as well. 

If you get too hot, there is also a pool right here that you can go to cool off and go swimming, so be sure to bring your swimsuit if you plan to go there afterward on a hot day. In case of emergencies, the park has a bathroom that is open to the public. Also, if you can plan to pack a picnic or bring along friends, there is a pavilion with picnic tables to sit, eat, chat, play games, or more. As if this isn't enough, they often host many events here at the park so it is a great way to find things to do with the community. For any private events, they make sure to mark off all areas for parties which helps bring an added level of privacy.
