Clermont Waterfront Park & Playground

On the shores of Lake Minneola, in the city of Clermont, you'll find Waterfront Park, which has a little to offer for everyone. 

There is a parking lot adjacent to the park, and if it's not busy, it makes it easy to visit the park. You will head out into the park to find its paved hiking trail that loops around the lake. It'll always be full of walkers, runners, and other gliders (skate or bike), alike. If you're wishing to explore more, it's a part of a 30-mile fitness trail that can provide stunning views as you traverse the lake. 

The main attraction here is the lake, which does have a beach and soft white sand to accompany it. The restroom pavilion is flanked by a playground and a splash pad. It's a great spot to visit with the family, as there are various options for what to do - whether to walk, play, or cool off!

The park also has a water play area on-site, Champions Splash Park. The splash pad does have a cost per use and does offer a season pass, with an application for Clermont residents. The splash pad is seasonally available and runs on a different schedule depending on the day. See more details about hours and days here.

Waterfront Park also offers a fishing pier and seasonal swimming, including triathlon competitions hosted in the lake. There is a pavilion nearby, which, when hosting events, is the centerpiece of the park. Make a day of visiting out here, and pack a picnic from Publix before visiting - there's one only a mile away by Florida Citrus Tower. And then finish off your day with a stop at Twistee Treat for ice cream, right off US 27. Finally, if you want to stay and linger, visit Lilly's on the Lake for dining right by the water!
