Enjoy the perfect after-beach cool-down snack at Dave's SnoBalls!

This colorful SnoBall joint is sure to capture the attention of your whole family as you pass it in Perdido Keys. Located right next to the Florida Alabama border, Dave's SnoBalls offers a twist with this classic Louisiana treat. Their fluffy ice can be paired with one of the 50 different syrup flavors provided. You can even mix and match flavors, so the possibilities are truly endless! The workers are so kind and have the best recommendations for flavor combinations. 

The restaurant has a walkup order window and is takeout only. There are great colorful picnic benches right outside to enjoy your treat, but be aware that there is only outdoor seating, so it is not a complete escape from the heat. It is located near all of the beach access points in Perdido Key Beach, between public access point number three and the Perdido Key State Park west entrance. Either beach option is great for a day trip, though the parking lot and spaces on the public beaches do fill up fast. The state park beach is only a $3 fee per vehicle, so it is a great option for the whole family to enjoy a beach day with clean facilities. 

The other food options in the area are relatively limited, so packing a picnic lunch and then visiting Dave's for a dessert after a day in the sun to recharge and cool down is the best game plan for your day. However, the hours can be slightly unpredictable depending on the season, so you should only plan to visit if you are already in the area.
