The downtown Denver aquarium is a very cool, large space with a wide array of fish, sharks and even a tiger. You could go for an hour or make a day of it. We enjoyed the incredible variety of fish and displays with large tanks. 
 

Check out CityPass for deals if you're looking into multiple is fun type locations or Rei Coop for climbing and gear options. 
 

The Aquarium restaurant was also very good. The kids meals were creative with a great mix of healthy options and two thumbs up in the macaroni and cheese from the kiddo expert.
