playground, run

Located in front of the Monroe Middle School Ballpark you will find Graf Park.

It is a short easy walk over from the DuPage County Fairgrounds and is very accessible. The park is very well maintained and clean and even offers pretty decently cleaned restrooms that are available for public use in case of emergencies.

The playground itself is not huge, as it offers more grassy fields for sporting play. It is very coon to find football or other teams playing games on the fields. There also are bleachers lined around so that you can watch the games that may be occurring on the baseball fields or other football and lacrosse fields.  It still, however, offers many different things to keep kids entertained for quite a bit. They feature a nice playground with very updated and maintained equipment. The playground is lined with a very thick layer of cushy wood chips that make it a great way to keep kids from getting hurt. The playground equipment has multiple slides, baby swings, and many different climbing structures to play on.

Around the park, there are plenty of pretty sights to see so make sure to have a camera ready. Not only for this but especially for the fun events that may occur here like the annual Fourth of July fireworks that take place in the park. There is plenty of space and trails to follow to take a walk or jog around the park if you want to get some fresh air and exercise. Also if you want, there is also room here for biking along or bringing a kite with, too. No matter what you’re looking to do, there is something here to stay entertained if you have an open mind.
