Enjoy plentiful options at Gypsy Hill Park: playgrounds, walking, duck pond and more!

Gypsy Hill Park is an absolutely gorgeous public park! When we arrived, we parked in the lot near the first playground. This is really close to the restroom building, as well. This first playground has a mulch surface, baby swings, and three adaptive swing with back support. It also has bouncy ride-on toys, tunnels and slides. While this is aimed at young children, even my seven year old had fun! There are picnic tables near the playground, as well as benches.

If you walk past this playground, you will reach a second playground for older children. This one has larger slides and tunnels, big kid swings, a rock wall, standing see-saw, and tire swing. There are several climbing opportunities, including various ladders and ramps. This playground has a mulch base as well. There are benches around this playground, too. The road that runs through the center of the park is perfect for new bike riders, scooters or rollerblading!

Between the two playgrounds is a large pond, where you can see fish and even ducks! Be sure to pack quarters for the animal feed machines. It is so fun to watch the fish come up to the top of the water's surface for the food! This lake doesn't have a barrier, so hold hands with your little ones, and remind them about good listening. During warm months, The Gypsy Express Mini Train takes patrons on rides through the park. Tickets are $1/person.
