The Jack Dalton Park in Collinsville Is the Perfect Park and Playground for Some Fresh Air and Fun.

Jack Dalton Park in Collinsville, Virginia, has something for everyone and is a great spot for a family outing. The park boasts a playground, large picnic shelter, restrooms, green space, beach volleyball court, and baseball fields. There is also a lighted, paved walking path around the entirety of the park, which is perfect for strollers or your kid's scooters. The parking lot is located directly in front of the park as well, so no need to worry about lugging the kid's stuff very far!

The playground has multiple slides, climbing ladders, a climbing wall, monkey bar rings, and a drum area. The playground itself is not huge, but it can make for a really fun day out in conjunction with the rest of the park!  There is plenty of green space to roam around, so be sure to bring a ball to kick around (or a kite if it's a windy day!).

The large picnic pavilion is the perfect spot for a picnic lunch and provides plenty of shade. There are also grills available if you want to take your picnic game to the next level. While you eat in the shade, you can sit back and enjoy all the scenic landscapes and flowers around the park. It is truly one of a kind, so make sure to stop in when you are in the area.

If you prefer to skip the picnic or your kid's worked up an extra-large appetite, be sure to make a stop at Fenderz Drive-in just down the road. It's an adorable diner-style restaurant that will transport you back in time!
