Kerr Park has so many cool attractions and amenities for everyone in the family.

When you arrive off of the busy road, you will drive back behind the public library in order to get to the large abundant parking lot. Here, there’s plenty of room to park, hidden away from the busy street. Also, in case of emergencies, they offer multiple portable bathrooms as well as regular indoor public restrooms for use so that there is always an option.

Here at Kerr Park, they highlight all there is to do by their paved walking trail, in which you can follow in order to explore all the different things throughout the park. Near the front of the park, there is a large playground which is its own attraction due to size and it's all abilities functionality. If you have little ones that are itching for a place to explore, they are sure to have the opportunity to do so here.

After they get tired of the playground, there is a stream down the path towards the first couple pavilions in which kids will often go to swim and cool off after they get hot from running and playing. Not only this, but if you continue there are a great number of the pavilions, some equipped with picnic tables to bring your own lunch and enjoy a picnic with your family. Also, around the park they have different disc golf poles set up to play, so make sure you watch out for flying discs if you aren’t playing. If you keep continuing down, you will be amazed by the beautiful sights and all the green space that this park has to offer to run around and play. If it were a windy day, this would definitely be great to bring a kite. Towards the end of the trail, you can find many basketball courts for older kids and adults to go play or shoot around. Luckily, a good amount of the park is decently shaded, especially along the walking trail, but there are some parts that can get sunny.

There is so much to unpack here in this great sized park that you’re sure to come back multiple times to be able to experience it in its entirety.
