A perfect spot for young kids on a cold or rainy day!

The Kidz Adventure Center is an indoor play place that is packed with activities for kids to enjoy. It’s located in Smyrna, TN, which is about 30 minutes south of Nashville. While it’s not a large place, there are various experiences set up throughout to keep kids busy for hours. There is a climbing wall and soft play area, which have foam-type toys for younger kids to enjoy. There is a seed pit, which acts as a sandpit (but less messy), filled with trucks, shovels, funnels, rakes, and more tactile toys. There’s a step 2 roller coaster, zipline, and trampoline for the more adventurous kids. And the most unique area is a play structure with tunnels, ladders, and a slide that goes into a ball pit. This ball pit is filled with over a foot of balls and has a wall of activities that kids can explore using the balls. My one-year-old loved the ball pit, play structure, and seed pit, and my 3-year-old, after being dragged away from the seed pit - he would have stayed there the entire time if I let him - absolutely loved the ball pit. He had a blast putting the balls in the various contraptions on the wall. 

They have implemented a number of safety precautions so there is a limit to how many guests can play. While it wasn’t too crowded on a weekday, I’d recommend calling ahead to check if there are open spots on a weekend. There is an area in the back with tables where you can enjoy a snack break and some snacks are available for purchase. 

Note - shoes are not allowed and you must wear socks. Closed on Wednesdays.
