Lion's Pride is a unique playground in Warrington, perfect for a family fun day outside!
Lions Pride Playground in Twins Oak Park is one of the coolest playgrounds I’ve ever been to. There are so many awesome climbing structures throughout the whole park, and something for every age group to enjoy. There is a separate playground for ages 2-5, but it is very close to the larger structure. The playground is all built on a mountain, with lots of structures to get to and down it. There are 2 big slides and a few smaller ones for the younger kiddos. You can walk up the stairs to the slide and jungle gym or climb up using one of the nets. The big climbing house with a rope web inside was a favorite of the kids. It is connected to the rest with a cool walking bridge. There is also a sandbox, with a couple of little rockers and a cute little swing. Other swings that they have here are a cool rope swing, baby swings, big kid swings and handicap accessible swings. Another feature that I haven’t seen at any other parks in the area is the music area, which has a bunch of fun noise-making playground equipment. This has to be one of the most unique playgrounds I have seen and makes me want to be a kid again to play in it myself. It is fairly big and it’s easy to trail younger kids and play with them in each section.
There are a bunch of benches and Adirondack chairs all around the park, so every parent can sit and still see the playground. There are also benches and grills just behind all of the benches, so it would be great to pack a lunch picnic. There are also grills for a barbecue. There is a picnic pavilion with tables if you need shade. Other super cool features are the giant chess game, giant Adirondack chair and cool hammocks. There are big open fields right behind and next to the park as well if older kids want to bring some sports equipment. Restrooms and plenty of parking is available.
