Lynne is an incredible, peaceful playground for the community.

Lynne Park is a small little gem located within a quiet neighborhood in Lincoln Park. The best time to plan a perfect visit would be earlier in the day, this way you may be lucky enough to get the whole park to yourself as it doesn’t get too much traffic. The park has a nice fenced area to allow for dogs to run around, but most of the playground itself does not have fencing. Also, there is a nice path located around the park to go for a walk or jog and get some fresh air.

There are large open fields of grass for plenty of sports activities, and there is a baseball field as well. There is definitely something for everyone here, no matter the age. Within the playground, there are multiple bigger and smaller slides on the huge equipment set. On the other side of the playground, they also have plenty of swings and a swinging bench to relax. Due to the low crowd, it makes it very quiet and peaceful throughout the park and makes it very easy to relax no matter what the weather or day is.

There’s plenty of pretty greenery, including trees that offer an escape from the hot sun on warm days. Although, if you’re looking to sit for a while it’s probably best to bring a chair or two, as there aren’t many benches around to lounge about. Overall, the park is kept very clean and well maintained, and doesn’t have trash around.
