Your child's imagination will run free playing at the Pensacola Children's Museum!
The Pensacola Children's Museum is thoughtfully curated to promote interactive and imaginative play for kids of all ages! There are 2 floors full of kid-friendly exhibits in this beautiful historic Pensacola building. The exhibits range in everything from a Publix-sponsored grocery storeroom to a lego building room and even an old schoolhouse room. No matter what style of playing your kid enjoys, the museum has something for everyone- and they might even get to learn a thing or two! One of our favorite exhibits, parents and kids alike, was the historic models of the old world town. Each room truly makes it feel like you are stepping into a different world, especially for your kids' creative minds. A new addition to their great exhibit collection is called Land and Sea. It aims to teach kids all about the impact that they have on the nature around them while combining the great message with fun hands-on activities!
This museum is an especially great option to have on rainy or hot summer days. It is a nice, cool, clean and safe indoor space to mix things up! If you are local to the area there are great discounts available with a membership that is definitely worth checking out. This museum would be a good weekly alternative to at-home play if you want to switch things up in your schedule. There are many family geared events and organized play activities weekly if you check their calendar on the website.
Before visiting, know that there is a toy shop at the entrance next to registration so it's worth having a plan with your kiddos before deciding if you will engage with that option or distract attention elsewhere.
