Slide Lake is about 45 minutes outside of the heart of Jackson north of town.

As you pass the wonderful Gros Ventre Campground and wind through Kelly, you wind through beautiful landscape to arrive at Slide Lake. It boasts ample beach and play space, plenty of room for paddling and swimming and even boating options (bring your own).

It’s peaceful, a spot less traveled and definitely worth the trip.

 

Stop in Kelly on the way for a great deli called Kelly on the Gros Ventre.
