Located in the heart of San Antonio's historic Pearl Brewery, this food hall is full of family fun and yum!

Though no longer an actual brewery, the Pearl has become a San Antonio highlight that’s packed full of fun things to do and places to explore during the daylight hours. The site, located within a vibrant community, offers shopping, coffee shops, green space for lounging, and even splash pads for those blistering summer days. Still, we most love to visit the Pearl early on Sunday evenings for a family dinner at the eclectic food hall.

Inside the Bottling Department Food Hall feels much like an old-school mall food court, but the quality is definitely above par. You’ll find a choice of ramen, hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos, salads, roti, and more. The wide variety of food choices makes it fun and easy for each family member!

Indoor seating is provided in the restaurant, but we prefer to get our food to go so that we can enjoy dinner outside on the vast lawn in the center of the Pearl. Picnic tables and high chairs are available, but you can always bring a blanket—or your gather mat—for a true picnic under the stars. You will find many other people doing the exact same thing as you! The lawn is typically filled—though not overly—with groups on blankets. The very family-oriented atmosphere also allows for children to run, or crawl, around the lawn. It’s also a great spot because you can bring your own snacks and drinks; if you have a picky eater on your hands, you can always pack something different from what’s available at the food hall. We, however, find the food hall’s variety well-matched for most eaters.

The food hall is open seven days a week, and bathrooms are located within the Bottling Department. Additional restrooms with changing tables can be found a short (less than half a mile) in a small building.
