Two Rivers Park has the most recreational activites of any park in Nashville!
Two River Park is a large park in Donelson. It’s home to a disc golf course, golf course, skate park, Wave County water park, and two playgrounds. We love Two Rivers Park primarily for its playgrounds and open green space. We've also visited the skate park before, but it’s a little advanced for my 3-year old son.
When you pull into the park, there is parking on the right, which will lead you to the skate park and water park, but if you go straight you will see additional parking. There is an older yellow playground on your left and a newer blue playground further down the lot. We visited the blue playground. This newer playground is boat themed and has fun climbing features. There is a ship play structure, slides, 2 swings, 2 different rope brides, a climbing tower, and more. It’s not a large playground, but it’s a creative and fun one. The ground is made of soft, bouncy turf, and the playground overlooks the disc golf course, which is beautiful.
There are restrooms located near the parking lot, although they were rather dirty.
If you’re looking to extend your adventure, take the Stones River Greenway back towards Shelby Bottoms. You go under two tunnels, under the interstate, and across an amazing pedestrian bridge. The bridge has beautiful views of the Cumberland River. It’s about a 10 min walk from the park entry using the greenway.
