Van Voorhees Park has a large playground for big and little kids with a fountain, a large blacktop area and a garden for exploring

Your kids will have a great time at this super cool park and playground in Brooklyn NY. There is a lot of room for them to run around and it is gated. There are benches available in the playground area to watch and be a part of all of the fun they are having! This is a very big playground split into an older and little kids section, so it has everything you could want in a park. It has a giant jungle gym with a big twisty slide and a smaller race side for a little fun competition. There are also monkey bars and ladders for all of the climbers out there. There are both baby and big kids wings available, so no matter what age ranges your crew is, everyone will be happy. There is also a big pavilion in the center to run around or scooter, and in the summer the center of it turns into a fun splash pad to cool down. There are a variety of courts outside of the playground area, including tennis, handball and a big field across the street. 

This park is just south of Brooklyn Bridge Park, so there are many options in the area to make a full-day adventure by combining this playground with the nearby Brooklyn Bridge Park attractions and/or yummy food options. It is also a much less crowded alternative to the BPP Piers, depending on the time and day of your visit, so it might be worth checking out!!
